My name is Vinícius and I was born in 1988 in Niterói, Brazil. I always liked things related to technology, since I was a child, and my family supported and encouraged me to keep learning new things in this area and then creating my own projects.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Informatics (area: Information Systems) and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, both obtained at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). My current research aims to develop methods to enhance usability in interactive systems.

I am founder of VBB Software Ltda, working since 2004 (when I was 15!) developing software for medical offices, small business and personal finances.

I currently work with Javascript, having experience developing web complex systems in Angular, NodeJS, Express and React, extending to the Ionic Framework. Besides, I also have experiences in C, C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, PHP, Objective-C and Swift.

My experience with DBMS includes both SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Microsoft Access) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems. I also have experience in cloud computing environments, including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.

I have a strong background in Agile Methods, including XP, Scrum (CSPO and CSM certificates) and Kanban, having published articles about experiences using them.

I also develop mobile apps and games just for fun :)

Where am I from?

Niterói

Niterói is a municipality of the state of Rio de Janeiro in the southeast region of Brazil. It lies across Guanabara Bay facing the city of Rio. It has an estimated population of 500,000 inhabitants and an area of 129.375 km (80.39 mi). It has the highest Human Development Index of the state and the seventh largest among Brazil's municipalities in 2010. Individually, it is the second municipality with the highest average monthly household income per capita in Brazil and appears in 13th place among the municipalities of the country according to social indicators related to education.
